dynamic Accountant committed to furthering their professional and

office.-- The Accountant s primary role is to drive financial
excellence and provide the best available data for decision making
by ensuring that the financial books and records reflect the
economic reality of the various constituents.-- The position
requires more than an ability to complete directives.-- It demands
a thoughtful and strategic self-starter with a drive to deliver
exceptional results through teamwork and optimized processes and
organization.-- This is a highly visible, robust role within a
boutique environment.RESPONSIBILITIES include:Full responsibility
for recording transactions and performing proactive accounting
reviews of records to improve general ledger accuracy and backend
efficiency ensuring the accuracy of all relevant financial
statements and reportingAssist with period, quarter and year-end
close activities to include general ledger entries, analysis and
account reconciliations for family-owned businessesLead in the
production of invoicing and credit memo transactionsPerform
daily/weekly/monthly reporting for all Family Office
Stakeholders.Assist in development of policies and procedures as
needed to increase the completeness, accuracy, validity and
timeliness of accounting information.Preparation of monthly and
year-end financial statements for family members, trusts and
certain family entitiesAnalyze month end reports for variances to
forecast and budget and follow up on unusual variances to ensure
understandingMaximize returns of financial assets by establishing
financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting
systemsMaintain a cash flow projection for family members, trusts
and certain family entities while performing all necessary cash
management functions.Assist in the development and reporting of
annual budgets and updated forecasts for family members, trusts and
certain family entitiesPerform proactive accounting reviews of
family office trusts and operating companies to improve general
ledger accuracy and backend processing efficiency and
transparencyBecome proficient in the use of Sage Intacct,
QuickBooks and other supporting software to ensure efficient use of
technology and workflowPartner will others while leveraging online
bill pay platforms to ensure all family office invoices are paid
and appropriately coded into the accounting system, with a focus
towards electronic payment processingIdentify risks and
inefficiencies in current operations and recommend technology-based
solutionsPerform proactive management reporting for family office
stakeholders utilizing current, and potentially future
technology--Establish strong working relationships with all
stakeholders, including internal and external partnersAssist in
special projects as determined by family office leadershipLead
support of year-end audits, tax preparation, and tax compliance
issues as neededProvide other accounting assistance as
neededProvide backup to other family office
positionsQualificationsRequired Education:BA/BS degree in
Accounting or Finance or equivalent experienceRequired
Experience:2+ years of experience in an accounting capacityStrong
knowledge of Sage Intacct and QuickBooks (and other accounting
software) highly desiredFully conversant in Microsoft Office
applications, specifically MS ExcelEmbraces technology and how it
can improve quality and efficiencyCan identify areas of needed
improvement and offer positive, practical solutionsEnjoy pushing
their boundaries and continuously improving as a person and
professionalStrive to better understand the why behind every
taskAbility to prioritize and change directionDesire to learn and
take on responsibilityMust be able to self-manage and operate with
minimal supervision and oversee assignments that are complex and

trying to be accomplished and guidance on a couple variables at
play
but the candidate will be asked to figure out the rest with
