Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgeon Needed in Florida Dates: ASAP - ongoing Location: Near Miami, FL Rate: Submit at your best rate Shift Type: 24-Hour Shifts Estimated Shifts: 7 Description: We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon with fellowship training for a locum tenens position, non-profit community hospital located near Miami, FL. The hospital boasts a dedicated medical staff of over 600 physicians, representing a wide range of specialties. Job Requirements: Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery (ABTS/ABMS) - Required Fellowship Training - Required BLS - Required FL State License - Required Shift Schedule: Weekdays (Monday - Friday): 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour on-call) Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour on-call) Call back as needed for Cath Lab & ED Average Cases Per Day: 1-2 Facility Details: Annual ER Volume: 55,000 - 60,000 Number of Operating Rooms: 16 (including 2 heart rooms and 1 hybrid room) Documentation System/EMR: EPIC If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact MD Staff at or email us at .
