Job Description Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong organizational skill set and a passion for fostering positive workplace environments. Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm. Responsibilities: • Coordinate onboarding procedures for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization. • Assist in managing and maintaining HR information systems to ensure accurate and efficient data handling. • Provide administrative support for various HR operations, including documentation and record-keeping. • Facilitate communication between employees and HR to address concerns and promote a positive work environment. • Conduct background checks and verify employee credentials in compliance with company policies. • Support employee relations initiatives to encourage engagement and resolve workplace issues. • Prepare reports and summaries related to HR metrics and departmental activities. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations. • Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and workflows. • At least 1 year of experience in human resources or a related field. • Proficiency in HR administration, including onboarding and employee relations. • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and their functionality. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and management. • Knowledge of compliance standards and relevant procedures. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
