Senior Billing Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time, Mid-Level
Department: Financial CGS is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to
join our team supporting our mission. This position will entail a
wide range of duties including being responsible for the effective
hands-on coordination and management of the e-billing and payment
cycle workflow related to payment posting, charge corrections,
monthly reconciling of payments to bank deposits for the Firm’s
offices and other duties as assigned. CGS brings motivated, highly

and attributes for success: - Ensures accurate observance of
e-billing requirements and processes. - Prepares monthly,
semi-monthly and ad-hoc billing reports for internal and external
clients. - Ensures timely invoice submission to clients, based on
established timelines. - Creates and distributes ad hoc operational
and billing reports to management as requested. - Works with
Controller and Accounting Department to identify, review and
recommend changes to automate or enhance timeliness, accuracy, and
efficiency of billing processes. - Supports internal and external
auditors as requested. - Supervises e-billing and receivables
staff. - Evaluates e-billing and receivables staff skill levels,
recommends any necessary training/changes. - Provides feedback to
staff performance appraisals, develops performance management
objectives to address concerns, drives engagement and retention;
participates in team hiring and separation decisions. - Delegates
assignments and projects to staff as appropriate Qualifications: -
Demonstrated ability to work well, be influential and articulate
initiatives, projects, results, and analyses to senior leadership
and staff, including presenting ideas in a clear, succinct manner.
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and
the ability to manage time effectively. - Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor
and presentation. - Analytical with strong problem-solving skills,
takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up
skills. - Work efficiently with the ability to multi-task and set
priorities while maintaining and delivering the highest quality
work product accurately. - Position also requires the ability to
work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, adapt to a fast paced
high pressure environment to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a
cross-functional, collaborative team. - Bachelor's Degree or
equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
preferred. - Five years of legal billing/receivables experience and
in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and billing software;
Advanced experience in e-billing. - Two years of supervisory
experience in similar role and ability to assume a leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Applications to include Excel, Outlook,
