(Onsite) Position Type : Full-Time, W2 Direct-Hire Salary Range :
$70,000 - $120,000 (DOE) Billing Requirement: 1,500 - 1,600 hours
annually About the Opportunity LHH Recruitment Solutions is
assisting a respected Florida Trusts & Estates team seeking an
experienced Probate Paralegal to support a growing practice
handling estate litigation, complex estate administration, and
high-net-worth probate matters. This role suits a detail-driven
professional with strong expertise in contested estates, fiduciary
claims, and federal and state tax filings. You will collaborate
closely with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate filings,
excellent client communication, and efficient workflow execution.
Primary Responsibilities Support estate litigation matters,
including contested wills, breach of fiduciary duty claims,
surviving spouse claims, and probate disputes Draft, prepare, and
file probate documents, petitions, inventories, accountings,
objections, and related pleadings Calculate estate taxes and assist
with valuation and distribution of estate assets Prepare IRS and
state filings such as Form 706 (Estate Tax), Form 709 (Gift and
GST), Form 1041 (Fiduciary Income), Form 1040 (as needed), and
related tax documents Assist with DR-312, tax lien releases, gift
tax reporting, and Florida-specific estate administration
procedures Manage high-net-worth estate files using case management
and document management systems Communicate professionally with
clients, fiduciaries, court personnel, and financial institutions
Draft correspondence, research memoranda, and supporting materials
for attorneys Maintain docketing, deadlines, and internal record
accuracy Record, track, and submit billable time in accordance with
firm requirements Participate in team initiatives and coordinate
with colleagues across locations Requirements/Qualifications 3
years of recent and tenured experience in probate, estate
litigation, estate administration, and/or tax-related legal work
supporting multiple U.S. attorneys in a law firm environment Strong
working knowledge of IRS Forms 706, 709, 1041, 1040, and related
fiduciary and tax filings Experience handling high-net-worth
estates and contested proceedings in FL probate court Strong
analytical, organizational, and time-management skills Proficiency
in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal/case management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional and
polished demeanor Paralegal certificate or relevant academic
background preferred Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy in
technical work Able to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced
environment Strong research capability, particularly in estate,
probate, and tax matters Client-service oriented with a discreet
and professional approach Team-focused and comfortable supporting
attorneys and staff across offices Benefits: Depending on the
