Title: National Sales Manager ???? Primary Purpose The Sales
Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing Nassau
Candy’s Sales & Account Management team to drive sustainable growth
and strengthen customer relationships. This role plays a critical
part in setting sales strategy, managing key national accounts, and
implementing best practices that improve performance and
profitability. The Sales Manager partners closely with
cross-functional teams to align sales execution with company
objectives and to ensure long-term customer success. ???? Essential
Functions ???? Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the
Sales & Account Manager team to support professional development
and achievement of sales objectives. ???? Develop, introduce, and
monitor sales metrics, KPIs, and targets to measure effectiveness,
performance, and growth. ???? Collaborate cross-functionally with
Account Management, Customer Support, Marketing, Product
Development, and other internal teams to drive alignment and
execution. ???? Take ownership of select large national accounts,
developing strategies to grow revenue, expand relationships, and
maximize long-term value. ???? Analyze customer performance, market
opportunities, and business trends to identify growth opportunities
and optimize selling strategies. ???? Support Sales & Account
Managers during negotiations to ensure pricing, margins, and
profitability targets are met. ???? Represent Nassau Candy at
industry trade shows, customer meetings, and relevant events to
strengthen customer networks and brand presence. ???? Provide
regular updates and business reviews to senior leadership,
including account status, performance results, forecasts, and
market insights. ???? Evolve the sales forecasting and planning
process in partnership with Marketing and Product Development to
better anticipate customer and market needs. ???? Build and
maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers,
delivering a high level of service that builds confidence and
long-term loyalty. ???? Perform other related duties and
participate in special projects as assigned. ???? Minimum
Requirements ???? Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus. ???? 7 years of
experience in Sales, Category Management, Customer Development, or
a related field within CPG, confectionery, or specialty food. ????
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role with a proven track record
of driving growth and developing high-performing teams. ???? Strong
strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate
strategy into execution. ????? Effective communicator with the
ability to lead with confidence, influence outcomes, and present
insights clearly. ???? Agile, adaptable, and comfortable navigating
change in a fast-paced environment. ???? Resourceful problem-solver
with strong business judgment and initiative. ?? Strong written
communication skills with the ability to clearly document plans,
